“Dance Jigsaw” is an innovative initiative by Nad Roop in association with Zapurza is aimed at exploring the intricate connections between dance and allied art forms. Recognizing dance as a composite art form, the project seeks to deepen dancers’ understanding by integrating elements from various disciplines such as poetry, painting, sculpture, and installations.

Nine dancers will embark on a journey to connect with paintings housed in museums, exploring the lines, shapes, compositions, colors, and spatial dynamics inherent in each artwork. Through their unique movement vocabularies, they will interpret these paintings, presenting choreographies that breathe life into the canvas.
